According to CricTracker, Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England across three formats between October 9 and November 21, 2026, in a home window covering T20Is, an ODI tri-series and two World Test Championship Tests. The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the full schedule on August 19.
The tour opens with a three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi on October 9, 11 and 13. England then join for an ODI tri-series, which starts on October 18 at Rawalpindi with Pakistan facing Sri Lanka. Matches alternate between Rawalpindi and Lahore before the tri-series wraps up with the final at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on October 31. The PCB has confirmed the tri-series forms part of Pakistan's build-up to the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027.
For the Test leg, Sri Lanka will first play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. The two-match Test series then carries points in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle, with the first Test at Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13 and the second at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, from November 17 to 21. This home assignment follows directly after Pakistan's ongoing three-Test tour of England in the same WTC cycle.
In the WTC standings, Pakistan currently sit eighth after a 1-1 result against West Indies in their last home Test series, making these fixtures important for improving their points percentage before the cycle ends in 2027. Sri Lanka are ranked sixth but are trailing India 1-0 in a two-match home series after losing the first Test in Galle, and will be tested by very different conditions in Pakistan.
